Our four week course is designed as a foundation for those wishing to enter the industry and have more than just a passing interest in flowers. This investment course will give you a solid training in floristry from Frankie Davison him self . You will learn the technical techniques of flower care and every thing you need to know about floristry the work carried out will start from the basic hand tied right through to sympathy and wedding work as well as shop experience All your materials, products and equipment will be provided . At the end of the course you will be able to carry out the basic designs in floristry as well as a your portfolio and flower school certification .
This course inc lunch every day and a day out to Covent garden market.

One week course £300.00 deposit £150.00

Our one week course is set to show you how to do some wonderful one off peaces from hand tied arrangements to large pedestal arrangements . And other function peaces. This one week course inc all the flower stock lunch and flower school certification.

Two day bridal course £500.00 deposit £100.00

This two day course will show all the main basic skills needed to create bridal designs inc bridle bouquet, bridesmaid’s, buttonholes and table arrangements it’s a full two days.
Inc in the course is all flower stock materials, lunch and a flower school certification

One day course £75.00-£100.00 deposit £25.00

We offer a wide rage of one day courses from showing you how to make the best out of your supermarket bunches to contemporary designs . We will set the course to you needs and wants this is a fun day course and inc all your flower materials, lunch .

Evening courses £25.00 deposit £5.00

Evening course is an 2hr course showing you how to make a one of peace to take home and show off to your friends and family. It is a fun evening and we like to think that you will enjoy the experience . Course inc all your flower materials and drinks.

Christmas course £25.00-£50.00

This course is to show you how to make your festive door wreath or table arrangement this is a fun packed evening or half day course inc all your flowers and drinks and mince pie .

Do I need experience in floristry ?

No- just a passion for flowers! At flower pot flower school we like to think that at the end of any of our courses you will have experience.

Do you have a set curriculum at the flower school ?

Yes we do we cover every thing from the basic to the full on working day in a florist. However we try to have some flexibility such as weddings or big contracts that may crop up during your term and we like our students to be involved as we full this is grate experience for you .

How many dose each class hold ?

We only take max of 6 students for our career courses . But on the day or 2 day course we will take up to 10 to a class so group bookings such as birthdays can be booked.

Do you provide a qualification at the end of each courses?

For all career and vocational courses all flower school students we supply a flower school certificate stating that you have completed the course. Although this is not a formal qualification, this dose carry a certain kudos with future employers. We also will give you a hand book with the full course and work carried out by yourself.

Do I get shop experience ?

Again on the career and vocation courses you will get some shop experience as it is important that our students not only can carry out the make up work but also know how a florist is run.

Do I get to see how you buy flowers ?

Yes we will show you all you need to know about buying flowers from Holland, We will also take the day out to go to Covent garden market .

What should I wear ?

We ask all students to wear all black and not to bring anything that you would not want to get dirty. We will provide an flower school apron .

What is inc in the courses ?

All career and vocation courses as well as day and week courses will be provided with lunch , all your flower stock , equipment and a pen as well as a note book .

Do we need to bring anything ?

Yes we recommend that you bring a camera to take photos of work to go in your portfolio .
